Ellen Lieberman has been appointed associate dean of Douglass Residential College.
Terre Martin, associate director of public relations in the Office of Community Affairs, Rutgers University–New Brunswick, retires on September 1 after 15 years of service. Patricia Kastner has been appointed associate director, effective September 1.

Bunyad Haider retired on June 30. He was a professor and acting chair from 1991 to 1992 and interim chair from 2006 to 2012 in the Department of Medicine at New Jersey Medical School. He joined the school in 1967.
G. Reza Najem retired on June 30. He was a professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Community Health and a member of New Jersey Medical School since 1974.
Gerson Weiss, chair of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health at New Jersey Medical School, retires on August 1. He joined the school in 1985.

Carole Kantor, associate director of the New Jersey Center for Biomaterials, retires on August 1 after 22 years of service at the university.
A. Van Jordan has been appointed Henry Rutgers Presidential Professor by the Board of Governors and joins the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing program at the Newark College of Arts and Sciences and University College–Newark in the fall. Learn more here.

Richard De Lisi, dean of the Graduate School of Education (GSE), Rutgers University–New Brunswick, steps down from his post on June 30 after 11 years of service. He has been appointed University Professor by the Board of Governors. Clark Chinn, professor I at the GSE, and Sharon Ryan, professor I at the GSE, have been appointed interim co-deans for the months of July and August.
Sheila Thimba, vice dean of administration at the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS), Rutgers University–New Brunswick, steps down for a new role in mid-July after two years of service at the university. Ron Ransome, dean of mathematical and physical sciences at SAS, serves as interim vice dean of administration effective July 1. He also continues to serve as dean of mathematical and physical sciences.
Adela Yarcheski, professor at the College of Nursing, retires on June 30 after 33 years at the university.

Monica Barrett has been appointed interim senior vice president and general counsel, effective July 1. She has served in the Office of General Counsel since 1996 and is currently associate vice president and deputy general counsel. Learn more here.

José M. Robinson retired from Camden School of Arts and Sciences as senior counselor for the Educational Opportunity Fund Program (EOF), November 1, 2013. He has been an EOF counselor for 43 years at Rutgers.

W. Ray Williams has been appointed program coordinator for the Business Student Transition at Rutgers Program at Rutgers Business School–Newark and New Brunswick.
